Hi.

Well you've found me. Have a look a see what I'm all about.

Hackaday Superconference Badge Hack (Short)

Hackaday Superconference Badge Hack (Short)

At the Hackaday Superconference they have a badge hacking competition. The 2017 badge included a camera so I wanted to build a one line histogram shield. My idea was to use the PSOC 4 FPGA to sniff the SPI bus for the color information for each pixel. I would then add them to a register and average the relative red, green, and blue intensity across the display. This value would be displayed by turning on the RGB LEDs to match the level of the color average. I was able to expose the SPI bus and get the PSOC 4 to read it, but didn't have enough time to get the GPIO driving the LEDs to work. Maybe I'll manage my time better next year.
